Rusty
To all,
About a three month’s ago, my girlfriend and I made the trip from St. John's County to meet a puppy named Moca. We called before making the long trip and Moca was still available. Upon arriving at your facility we noticed that a family was already in the process of adopting Moca. We spent some time looking around at the other dogs, but none caught our eye. Finally, the main trainer there (I'm sorry, I couldn't remember your name) said that she had a dog in mind, but it was a big dog. I would have bet money on it that my girlfriend would never go for a dog this big. But, like every other man, I was wrong. She called the foster home, were King Tut was living, and asked to bring him over. As soon as my girlfriend saw him she was in love. We had to have him. After all was said and done we were leaving with King Tut (now know as Rusty).
On the way home that night we need to stop by Petsmart and pick up all the fun stuff that new dogs need. Not knowing the dog, ohow it reacted to other dogs, I was a little nervous. We walk in with Rusty, and guess what; it’s there big Halloween dress up day and parade. Great just my luck, but much to my surprise, Rusty didn’t give a care in the world about the other dogs. Only thing he cared about was picking about all the good stuff he was about to get. We got Rusty home and another surprise was awaiting us, how calm he was. We had some friend over and he was in just heaven playing and relaxing in his new home.
About a week later, it was vet time. Man was he excited about going to the vet. I figured this would last long, but once again I was wrong. He had an ear infection in his left ear which was bothering him. We got that fixed and went back for a check up, calm and friendly as can be. I was amazed. Since then he had be crate trained and loves to play on the playground, especially the slide!!
I just wanted to write this letter and say thanks for the loving dog that we received. The love and care that you guy’s give these dogs is amazing. I know, especially for the trainer that Rusty was hard to give up, but he has been the best dog I have every seen. You do great work, and he still loves his special meal (chicken and rice). With this letter is a picture of Rusty from a few day’s ago. He’s doing great. I wish all of you a Happy New Year.
Thanks for all that you do,
Chris Naff
