Laddie

Hi! My name is Laddie. I got adopted in June of 2005. I weighed only 40 pounds. Now I weigh 50! I am going to obediance school. I was even in the NHS/Redbones Christmas parade. When I first went home with my new owners a flea jumped on me. I got "flea paralysis", but the good docs at Amelia Island Animal Clinic got me well. Now my owner buys a flea collar and some liquid from the vet and puts it on me.

I live with a cat named Puddles. It is my job to protect my owner's chickens. Every night my owner and I herd the chickens into their pen where they spend the night. I sleep in a great big screened porch where I have a fan in the summer and a heated bed in the cool months. I bark and wake my owners when a critter comes around the chikens. My owners say "Good Laddie" because I am doing my job. My tail is always wagging now!
