Chocolate
What a love bug he is! I can’t get over how affectionate this boy is. The first night we had him here, my husband and I were playing with him in the bathroom and he would “head butt” us and then basically do a somersault and flop down next to our leg. It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen a cat do!! He will still do it when he gets in a lovey-dovey mood and you pet him a lot. I am definitely going to have to try catching this on video at some point!! On the car ride home I had opened the top of the carrier to pet him and he kept licking my hand. He is very much a kisser and nuzzler. Chocolate truly exceeded my expectations as far as personality goes! He is just amazing, and oh so curious. He still jumps on every counter, table, sofa, goes in every closet, etc. like it’s the first time. He’s very active which is good, so he might lose some of that pudgy belly. :o)
Chocolate had no problems getting used to the dogs, he only doesn’t like it when they run up to him quick. But one of the best things is that he and our 7 month-old kitten will engage in wrestling and chasing play so I am thrilled about that. Our Snowshoe kitten Stella really needed a playmate, so this is perfect. There was very little hissing or swatting with the other adult cats and they are all fine with him now.
I just wanted to thank you again for saving this boy – he has made us all so happy and we love him so much!! I promise you that he will have many, many years of living the spoiled pet life and being a very treasured member of our family!
