Sparky's Booberry Surprise
Hello everyone at the Nassaue Humane Society, I just wanted to let y'all know what a wonderful life I have now. You may remember me as one of the cereal puppies. I am so happy that I was taken to Lofton Creek Animal Hospital to be spayed back on Oct. 17th, 2006. That was when I made eye contact with my new mom and we fell instantly and completely in love with each other.
She called and asked about me but someone else had first choice. My mom was very determined not to give up on me and her persistance paid off! I also have a new dad, two human sisters, and two canine friends. My mom didn't think that I would get very big but I pleasantly surprised her by going from 15 lbs at 4 months to 52 lbs at 9 months! She says that I have blossomed into a very beautiful companion!
Mom says that I look like a black German Shorthaired Pointer (yes, there is such a thing as a black GSP) and she is going to try to get an ILP number from the AKC so that we can do obedience and agility together.
My mom is very proud of me because I have completed my CGC Test with flying colors. When I am 18 months we are going to take a course where I can learn to be a therapy dog and visit different people and make them feel better. She also says that I am one of the fastest learners she have ever worked with.
She has spent much time with me taking me everywhere so that I can learn about all kinds of things without being scared or timid. She takes me to the beach, camping, hiking, jogging, to the dog park, Petsmart(well, basicly anywhere that dogs are allowed) I love going places in the van with my family.
I have also enclosed some pictures of myself. Please respond to let my mom know if you got this e-mail and pictures. Thank you so much for all of you love and care for the first 4 months of my life. I will keep you updated on my life when ever possible.
Thanks again,
Sparky's BooBerry Surprise (Boo) and Theresa
