Arnold

Arnold's new Dad's family had been searching on the Internet for just the right dog for their Dad.  You see he had lost his wife awhile back and was enjoying the company of one of his daughters dogs, but they all decided that he had so much love to give he needed a dog of his own. 

They were referred to our web site and spotted Huge Grant.  Off the family went for the hour drive to Amelia Island to meet Hugh.  What a disappointment to find out he had been taken that Sat to Petsmart for adoption day!  A quick call to the store found Hugh still available so off the family went for yet another hour drive.  What a disappointment to realize that Hugh was going to be too full of energy for their Dad. 

We mentioned Arnold, a wonderful lab mix who was not with us that day because he was in a foster family.  A call that night to the foster family and we all agreed to meet Sunday afternoon 1/2 the distance.  It was love at first site.

When the Dad went to his car to retrieve some special treats for Arnold the foster Mom, Melissa, leaned over to me and said oh he barely will take a treat from me!  When she saw that Arnold not only took the treat but responded to his command she was sure she had finally found the right home for Arnold! 

A week in his foster care, and a call saying to go thru with the paperwork was all we needed to hear!  He now has his forever home!
