Foster

With only having so much space to house animals and our desire to help as many cats and dogs in need as humanly possible, we turn to our foster parents for an extra hand! Fosters are crucial to our operation and allow NHS to take in more animals that require a little extra special attention. We have fosters for animals that need socialization, kittens and puppies that are too young to be adopted, and animals that could benefit from recuperating in a warm and loving home after surgery.

We utilize the generosity of our foster parents for periods of time lasting anywhere from a few days to several months at a time, and NHS provides everything needed to successfully foster our animals from cat litter and food to medications and dog crates.
