The Nassau Humane Society has opened up an account
at Buy-Gones Consignment Shop in Fernandina Beach. Bring
in any woman’s clothing,
purses, jewelry, shoes, or other items you no longer
want or need. Tell them to add the items to the Humane
Society’s
account. We will receive a portion of
the sale of the items. This is just another
way in which you can help to care for the homeless
cats and dogs at the shelter until their forever
homes are found. As always, your donations are tax
deductible.

The item will be sold on ebay - listing, packaging, and shipping included. From the money received, 30% will be used to pay all ebay fees; the remaining 70% will be donated to the Nassau Humane Society (donor name will be included with payment). A tax receipt will be sent to donor.
Possible items to donate include electronics, antiques, jewelry, cameras, video recorders, housewares, event tickets, vehicle parts, musical instruments, designer apparel, accessories, and sports equipment.

until they find a permanent home. Donations to the Nassau
Humane Society qualify as a tax deduction. Your generous support

-soft dog treats for small dogs and puppies

-hay/straw for dog houses in cold weather

-boiled chicken/beef that we will freeze for a special Christmas dinner for the animals
Many people in need come to our shelter for dog and cat food for their animals. If we collect any dry dog or cat food, we store it in the puppy house and give to these people in need. This food goes to a very good cause.
Thank you for your generosity at this holiday time and we appreciate your help and caring for all of our homeless animals.
NHS is located on Amelia Island across from the airport. The shelter office opens after 11:00 to give the staff time to clean the grounds and take care of the animals.
